# What Recyv is

Recyv turns a crypto payment into a link you can share anywhere.

Instead of sending someone a wallet address and hoping they copy all forty-two characters correctly, you create a payment request — *Website development, 500 USDG* — and Recyv gives you a short link and a QR code. Whoever opens it sees what they are paying for, connects a wallet, and confirms. The money arrives in your wallet directly.

It settles on Robinhood Chain, which confirms in about a second.

## What it is not

Recyv is not a wallet, and not a payment processor that holds funds. There is no account balance, no withdrawal step, and no way for us to freeze or reverse a payment. A payment moves from the payer's wallet to yours in a single transaction, and nothing sits with us at any point.

## Who it is for

Freelancers sending an invoice, creators taking tips, small businesses putting a QR code on a counter, and teams paying contributors.

Anyone who needs to be paid and would rather not explain a wallet address first.

## Getting started

You need a wallet with some funds on Robinhood Chain. There is no signup, no account, and no email address to hand over — connect a wallet and you can create your first request immediately.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.recyv.xyz/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
